About Us
Mighty Women of Vision (“MWOV”) was created by its founder Elizabeth Thompson. Elizabeth is now retired and the ministry is lead by Elizabeth’s longtime friend and co-laborer in Jesus, Jill Purcell.
As you see, a huge focus has been on being the hands and feet of Jesus in very practical ways, helping those in need, in various parts of the world that God has invited MWOV into.
At one time MWOV partnered with local groups in Uganda, including helping resource an orphanage.
MWOV in the past created, “Toast the King”, as a way to equip women in Oregon with greater confidence in telling their stories, speaking in public, and toasting the Goodness of God in public.
Since 2010 the Purcell’s have been involved with Invest-Credit through their connection to PEER Servants, a 25 year partner with Invest Credit, and have been onsite in Moldova for most of those years (except during Covid), witnessing firsthand the impact for the Kingdom of God their work has.
For many years MWOV has been involved in resourcing a couple in India, who are the epitome of being the hands and feet of Jesus to so many. Elizabeth herself traveled to India to help build this connection and to this day Jill Purcell and her husband Scott are integrally involved.

Your contributions to Mighty Women of Vision, a charity under IRS 501(c)(3), uses your contributions wisely. Contributions designated to either India, or Moldova, will be used exclusively for those respective purposes as well as operating costs of the ministry including tax preparation, legal services, postage and banking fees. There is no compensation to any one, including Jill Purcell, and there is no reimbursement of personal expenses, such as travel. Any travel done on behalf of Mighty Women of Vision is an in-kind donation of Jill and Scott Purcell. This makes your generous contributions have a greater impact!
